Celebration Music Quartet comprises professional musicians who are graduates of music schools including the Yehudi Menuhin School and the Royal Academy of Music.

Dorry Macaulay
Violin
Dorry Macaulay studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School and the Royal Academy of Music. She is a freelance violinist, composer and arranger. Dorry has done session work for the BBC, ITV, NBC Comcast and her recordings have been used by BMW, Sony and Lacoste and many other companies.

Bridget Hughes
Violin
Bridget Hughes studied music at Dartington College of Arts, where she studied violin with Colin Sauer of the Dartington String Quartet. She has worked since with Hampshire Music Service teaching in schools. Bridget plays in various ensembles and orchestras, such as the South Downs Camerata and Solent Symphony orchestra.

Janis Moore
Viola
Janis Moore read music at Lancaster University, where she studied violin with Paul Robertson and viola with Paul Silverthorne of the Medici String Quartet. After graduating, she continued her studies with Sidney Griller. She then moved to Hampshire to teach for the Hampshire Music Service. Janis plays with many local groups, including Havant Chamber Orchestra, Solent Symphony Orchestra, Basingstoke Symphony Orchestra, South Downs Camerata and the Consort of Twelve.

Wendy Lowe
Cello
Wendy Lowe read music at Cardiff University, studying cello with Sharon McKinley. Wendy worked as a peripatetic cello teacher and freelance cellist in South Wales, which included work with the Welsh Sinfonia and contemporary Theatre Group “Moving Being”. Now based in Hampshire, Wendy works as a cello teacher for the state and private sector. She plays with the Solent Symphony and South Downs Camerata and has regular recitals with the Rotherhurst Quartet and other chamber ensembles.
